Oh we do. But we also have a tradition that spans decades - touching countless major-leaguer's lives. This program means a lot to a lot of important people in the baseball universe. We have Gene Stephenson to thank for that. I assume there will be people thanking Coach Stephenson again very soon.

Serious question, how would our last 2 teams have compared if we were still in the Valley? I feel like Valley baseball was down this year. Could this or last years Shox team have made upper half?

The MVC finished right behind the AAC in conference RPI. The MVC had 3 top 30 RPI teams and then AAC had 2. Overall the AAC had more top 100 teams, but we probably would have finished 5th to 7th in the MVC this year.

The MVC finished #6 (right behind us at #5), but if you look at RPI points, the AAC finished closer to the #3 ACC than the MVC finished to us.
