After 2 were out, Boyer walked, Sigrist was 2-0 before grounding out. He's done a nice job at the plate this season but would have liked to see him take at least one strike there as their pitcher seemed to be tiring.

2-0 going to the top of the 7th. McGinness is done, 6 innings, 5 hits, no runs, 2 walks, 2 Ks in 98 pitches (59 for strikes). Alex Segal on in relief.

Workmanlike effort for Clayton. Bottom line is he allowed no runs. Can't really do better than that.

Grrrr….after a great first pitch breaking ball, Segal loses the leadoff batter. Tying run at the plate. 8 and 9 hitters up. Time to spin one in there Alex. Lindemann (?) getting loose.

Dang it. Alex loses both batters and is out. Lindemann in. Sacrifice and runners in scoring position. Ground ball gets one home. Runner at 3rd and 2 out.

Single to left ties it up and Clayton's effort is officially wasted. :( SFA still batting, runner on 1st and 2 down.

Not sure what's wrong with Mitchell Walters but was hoping to see him as the closer. Maybe the 7th is too early but he's about the only pitcher we haven't seen yet.

Runner over to 2nd on a WP. Lindemann has not been impressive yet this season, at all.

Another WP coupled with a walk and it's 1st and 3rd, still 2 out. Walks killing us all season, especially tonight.

Lindemann wriggles off the hook with a K and it's bottom of 7, tied at 2 on one freaking roller past Boyer.

        Let's go Shocks!

One out and Ritter singles. Now hitting about .530 on the season. Way to go Luke. Can we help him?

Katzfey strikes out. Cadena Ks. On to the 8th.

Haase in to work the 8th.

Dynamite foul ball catch from AJ. One out single. Aaron needs to get these next 2.

Haase's overhand curve is really good. 6-4-3 DP gets the Shocks out of the inning. Bottom 8 still tied at 2. Nice job Aaron.

Need someone besides Paxton Wallace and Luke Ritter to come through. With 2 outs Wallace singles and there's a pitching change.

Walters is loosening in the pen just in case.

Wallace gets to 2nd on a steal really...might be WP, close call but good awareness by Paxton. Then Paxton got caught a bit off 2nd on a WP but instead of getting picked off the C threw it into center. Wallace on 3rd now. 2-2 to Boyer. He strikes out.

On to the 9th. Still 2-2.

Aaron starting the 9th. Starts 2-0...gets it even at 2-2, full, and loses the leadoff batter. Nibbling will get you killed in this game.

Leadoff walk to start the 9th....walk could go wrong.

SFA, unlike the Shocks, gets the runner over. Might be helpful that SFA will be rolling out the 3rd string catcher in the 9th. Groundout gets the runner to 3rd. 2 outs.

Haase loses the batter and it's 1st and 3rd still 2 outs. Not the worst thing. Good guy not to give in to. Now you gotta get this guy.

Haase's curve is really, really good but he's got to be able to back it up. Curve for a strike, fastball for a strike, ball, ball....and got him looking. Bottom 9 still tied at 2.
