Well, when you find someone from the 90's that merits the award, come and tell me.

I believe Perez was probably it for men's bball. What about track or XCountry athletes though? Golf has been pretty good too.

the men's baseball program dominated the Valley in the 80's and 90's along with the national scene. The basketball program did not, therefore more baseball entrys. Also, Pat Magness was my penpal when i was in 6th grade. The guy was awesome, friendly, helpful, and all around good guy, so congrats to him and the others.

Now really just because baseball has more championships you honestly believe the the majority of fans are with baseball rather than basketball. 10000 some fans with a waiting list. Since when has baseball had 10,000 in the stands

So, let me get this straight: The basketball team has more fans, so it deserves more athletes in the HoF? Nice logic.

I didn't say that. All I said is there are as many good basketball players than their are baseball and it seems that all we get nominated anymore are baseball players.

Not at WSU over the last twenty years. Not even close. Hard to even imagine that somebody would think so.

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

We didn't even make an NCAA tournament appearance from 1988 to 2006 in basketball. We made it almost every single year in baseball during that time period, even won a national championship. There were many, many, many, many more good baseball players than basketball players during that period. We had several All Americans in baseball compared to one Honorable Mention All American in basketball. I can't believe that this is even an argument.
