Here's what also won't matter:

FSU will get credit for the tough schedule, losing, and be rewarded with a regional as long as they win at least half of their games.

WSU will have to win a big majority of their ROAD non con games (something I doubt FSU even plays) then go practically unblemished in conference, and HOPE they get a decent seed in a regional somewhere close.

Everyone will forget a 2 game sweep of a Top 15 team.

#1 Florida (midweek this week) was a non conference game in Gainesville...as was the game against Florida two weeks ago in Tampa. Another midweek road game vs the Gators remains to be played in Jacksonville.

FSU has completed a three game set against Georgia in Athens.

Playing Florida and Georgia on the road is about it for non conference....the conference series on the road are in Miami, Maryland, Raleigh North Carolina, Charlottesville Virginia, and Blacksburg Virginia.

Maybe. It is much like me saying..."No one will remember that those three losses were all in extra innings to top five teams."

We both fret over such. I suspect that WSU will make a regional this year.
