    Missouri?

Maybe for this year, but the subject was "programs."

A case could be made for a 5-way tie.

It was for the last five years.

Yes, I know and that's my point. Missouri as the best for the last five years seems interesting.

          It is close.

I didn't have a big problem with Missouri at #1 though.

The top 5 might be neck and neck, but there sure is a huge drop off after those 5.

Who else would even be in the conversation?

            My ranking:

            1. Arkansas
            2. Nebraska
            3. Oklahoma St.
            4. Wichita St.
            5. Missouri

Mizzou might have the potential to move up the list, but in no way have they overtaken the top 4, by having one great season.

              Oral Roberts, and Oklahoma.

There just aren't as many quality programs in the area as there are in some others (California, Florida, Carolinas, etc). Sure does make scheduling a pain.

I know Missouri has been to 5 regionals, 1 super the last five years.

                  Same for WSU?

                  Arkansas, 5 regionals, 1 super, 1 CWS.

                  Not sure on OSU.

Nebraska has at least 1 CWS during that time...

I think its odd OU isnt on the list as they made the CWS a couple years ago. I would put them ahead of mizzou. nebraska has struggled the last couple years but lets face it they had a couple cws just previous to that. Arkansas should be 1 imo.

Actually I would agree with that. The top 4 teams are close, put I would give Arkansas the edge.

2-3-4 between Wichita St, UNL and Okie St would be very close (My Shocker bias would tend to want to give us the edge, but the programs are very even)

And I would put Missouri #5. They may be great in 2008, but they would have to prove it to me on the field first.
