At this point I think that anyone they hire will qualify as a hire for diversity. After all, it looks like "wanting the Illinois job" in and of itself makes you a minority.

It is not out of the realm of possibility that KSU might try to make a run at 3G.

I would if I was them. The worst that can happen is 3G says not interested.

Of course, there has to be mutual interest to make this work and at this point we don't know if either side is the least bit interested in pursuring a deal. AD Currie no doubt has his own ideas of what direction he wants to go.
