Not surprised at all by these talks. I have been telling my uncle for at least 2 years that I see the NCAA Basketball tournament moving to 2 or more levels like football has.

The Big 5 want power and autonomy. I don't know when it happens, but I think eventually they leave the NCAA.

I just hope there are more than just the power 5, Maybe 10 conferences leave as a compromise.

I think in this environment having the right person leading the ahletic department is more critical than ever. Clearly there has been a vote of no confidence in ADDB and the jury is still out on whether President Muma cares one way or the other.
