Looks like they are putting a little bit of effort into the event:

Carolina having as cocky (okay there truly was no pun intended here) attitude as the Illinoisying fans, but you never know. I suppose they could be like Indiana State and think they are a special gift to the conference after playing only 3 good games in a row like they did in the tournament last year. The thing about USCjr is that they have a diehard fan base. Back when they were bottom of the barrel SEC, they'd sell out their stadium every game. Granted it was tailgate, but what ever. I had a cousin who went to USC and she would always tell me that they went to the football game because it was just something to pass the time while they took a break from tailgating. She actually knew people who had season tickets, who kept their parking pass so they could tailgate, but sold their tickets, because they had a big bus that they hooked up with a satellite and would watch the game on a big screen while they tailgated. However on the flip side, basketball is 3rd on the pecking list at USC. Football > Baseball > Basketball.
If USC opens up, I'm leaning towards us getting a new coach next year. It's home for Gregg, can't fault a man for wanting to go home and be around family. I just don't know how smart of a move career wise it is. Because you're talking about taking a 10-21 team who needs a facelift bad, that is at the bottom of a strong Power 6 conference, that has teams such as Kentucky, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, that he will play every single year. If Gregg wants to test his coaching skills, I guess USCjr is a good of place as any to prove that.

4 things:
1)The Gregg Marshall Radio Show with Mike Kennedy will be from 4 to 5 prior to the Selection Show, in Koch Arena.
2)No better time than Sunday than to show Coach how much we care and appreciate the job he's done here.....and let him know how much we'd like him to finish his career here.
3)Prepare to open the wallets.
4)One more chance to show the team how much joy they've provided us this season, and to send them off to the dance with a rousing Give 'em Hell Shocks!
