KU basketball does not need help from KU football to hurt itself. Basketball is doing a fine job all by itself."I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. Saw an article out of KC that talked about three local (KC) had scholarship offers from a school up north and committed to that school but then that same school pulled those offers and basically left the kids holding the bag so as to speak.
