I'm gonna laugh so much if the Valley finishes with like half the conference tied for first at 10-8. And the other half will be just a game or two behind. Everyone basically .500 and no one manning up and winning the dang thing.

might be a problem when you are waiting 30 seconds into the 35 second clock .. since you only have a 30 seconds. Would explain a lack of scoring.

UNI delusion in a snapshot post from their board:
I genuinely feel this team is much better than any other in the valley, they just haven't made the adjustment yet.
Unexplainable and unacceptable that it's taking this long for the coaching staff to figure it out and react, but we've seen in previous seasons that they will go on a prolonged run once they do make the necessary adjustments. I see no reason why we can't do that again, and run the table in StL.
We've played and beaten MUCH better teams than we're losing to right now. At some point the coaches will realize that when we don't wait 30 seconds into the 35 second clock to attempt to score, we can score more efficiently! At that point I have no doubt we'll dispose of the rest of the valley like the trash heap they are.

This is so completely accurate. I've said it before, I will continue to pay attention to the Valley because they were our brethren for so many years. I will continue to be interested in how they are doing. I've watched every Valley team at least one game this season, and I wouldn't give any of them an advantage over the others in a tournament setting. Even if UNI at 0-5 plays at 4-1 Drake tomorrow, that's a coin flip game and it's likely to be a coin flip in St. Louis. Name any 2 random Valley teams and tell me who the favorite is. I dare you.Home Visitor 170 Drake 131 Evansville (W, 65-64, 55%) 69 Missouri St. 164 Indiana St. (W, 72-62, 82%) 96 Loyola Chicago 118 Bradley (W, 65-59, 68%) 153 Southern Illinois 163 Illinois St. (W, 74-70, 66%) 140 Northern Iowa 147 Valparaiso (W, 63-59, 63%)

Honestly I’m really surprised uni is so bad. I figured they’d be a top half finisher at least
