I'm not sure how helpful this information is since the author does some assuming and was written back in 2014, but it looks promising!

I just recently bought a TV with Built-in Roku, so this would be amazing if true!
AFAIK it is used for non-revenue sports, I recall them streaming things on the golf championship earlier this spring and I see archives of T&F. But for revenue sports, I wouldn't expect to see anything there beyond highlights and interviews etc..

Cutting the cord from Time Warner was one of the most cathartic experiences in recent memory.

      • We cut the cord with Cox at the beginning of the year. Intalled a digital TV antenna to get the local networks and a bunch of oldie channels. I think the antenna was 75 bucks. Works great and the Saturday westerns on Me TV for example are kind of fun.

Got a good early bird special on DirectTV Now streaming service. Between those two, Netflix and Amazon Prime we have more options than I could ever use.

I just moved up to KC from Wichita and have Google Fiber for internet. Does anyone know if I'll be able to get Shocker games that are on Cox in Wichita through WatchESPN or whatever service is being used by the AAC (I use someone else's login info)?

If they are on Cox, they are broadcast on Time Warner/Spectrum. And blacked out on ESPN3. Replay will be available wjen its over but cant see it live. Thats one reason that cutting time warner hurt. But Im hopeful that more games will be broadcast on ESPN or Wherever and not on Cox, but not sure as of right now. Im sure a lot will be still on cox.

If you use a VPN you could easily watch via ESPN3. There are even some chrome plugins that help do this to simplify the process.

                • I love that they continue to double down on the Power6.

I will never forget walking into The Georgia Dome and seeing WuShock all over the place, I'll never forget watching Ron and Fred after beating KU in Omaha, I'll never forget the post game celebration with the volleyball team in Allen Fieldhouse after beating ku to go the Sweet16 and I'll never forget joining this conference. Same type of feelings.

If you're moving from Wichita, why the F would you move to KC?
KC is real nice if you've never lived anywhere but Lawrence.

Sorry, next time I'll consult you before looking for jobs in metropolitan areas.

                          • Looks like the Welcome to the AAC celebration with Commissioner Aresco at Koch is next Monday, and starts at... wait for it... 5PM.

Dozens will attend no doubt. Thousands who HAD planned to be there are now seeing the time slot chosen and uttering something like "WTF... serious?" under their breath.

                            • Don't you understand that the non-coaches invlved with this event don't work beyond 5:00 p.m.? This is not for the fans, but for the administrators. And the press doesn't want to work beyond the 6:00 p.m. news, either.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

For as well as the athletic department has planned nearly everything regarding this conference change out, you'd think they would schedule something at a time to allow, I don't know, people to attend?
