Completely unrelated, but wouldn't it make more sense to have our missle intercept facilities much farther away from LA? I suppose they might need to be close to the populated areas though, as that is where they have the best chance to intercept. Not sure where that tech's optimal intercept location is, (space)? Just thinking the Aleutians would perfect.
