How? Utilizing a trait that said bye bye to you a long time ago.....common sense.
Like many in academia, you think because something cannot be proven to you then it is disproved. Again, you are mistaken.

This doesn't answer the exact question, I am not sure the exact question has ever been polled in detail.
It does show that support has ebbed and flowed over time. For reasons not exactly clear, pro abortionists seem to be losing ground at this moment in time.
My question for the pro abortion crowd is this (and I think about this when I read through all the public comments and debate on the subject):
The pro abortionists always play the "not the role of government to get into morality" card when arguing their side. But seemingly, taking the life of a 1 day old child is murder and that doesn't seem to put the government into the business of morality. How do you make that work in your mind? I don't get it. I understand the application of case law, whether I agree or disagree, I understand the law. I don't understand how you can say one thing is reprehensible one day and worthy of long term incarceration, yet 1 day before it is celebrated as someone elses right to choose.
Help me understand.....I don't get how a human brain can work that way. Is it no heart, no soul, no caring or just plain stubbornness against a way of thinking that you think is trying to control your life?

Pew Polls conducted in 2009 have found fewer Americans expressing support for abortion than in previous years.

Your assertation is laughable... you assume that all pro-choice people are all for abortions up until the day of birth. That simply isn't true. IMO it all revolves around when does the fetus become a baby. Which isn't an argument that ever comes to an agreeable conclusion between the two sides. BTW I was prolife before CHOOSING to be pro-choice.

Obviously there are different gustation periods, and maturation rates of fetus' for me to give you a day is stupid. Besides I am pretty sure that I already mentioned that we won't come to an agreeement on this. My opinion is pretty set, just as yours is, and that is a good thing. They both mean about the same in the grand scheme of things.

The Bible tells us that God is always right and man is almost always wrong. When we rely upon human consensus we will end up with man’s perspective and not God’s revelation. This is a dangerous situation that has the potential to lead people astray.
In this situation there are people being led astray who think they can somehow rationalize killing baby'sby changing the term "baby" to "fetus".
Jeremiah 1:5 says that God knew us before we were formed in the womb. Exodus 21:22-25 prescribes death to those who kill babies in the womb. I hope (and pray) that more people of this nation will respect life and turn away from abortion, I believe there will be consequences not only for individuals but for our nation. If our nation does not repent and change, we will face God's judgment.
And for individuals - every head and knee shall bow. There will be judgment for those who choose not to change (repent). Being that said, abortion is not an unforgivable sin and like any sin can all be forgiven by our faith and living in grace through Jesus Christ.
