Interesting column about urban public schools

While this column is more about why "white America" chose Obama, I thought it was a bit of an eye-opener in regards to those who have been running urban public schools and the products of them.

This would be somewhat similar to my experience with the public schools here in Wichita.

I wouldn't say any of us were "scared to death", but I will tell you that Assault and Battery took place on the bus every day.
