I'm troubled that he automatically assumes that countries who are over-schooling their kids is doing the right thing. Better test scores and other "achievements" doesn't mean our kids will lead better, happier lives.
All the talk the past few decades about kids being over-schooled and adults working too long must not be en vogue any longer.
And he wants schools to be open on weekends to give kids a safe place to go? As if schools aren't already trying to parent our kids. :banghead:
