After all - love him or hate him - his words reflect a philosophy that most people know to be true. That it`s people, not the government, who create wealth.

He did, but I don't think he planned on going this far with it. That would be just a guess though. With that said, even what he did was completely wrong in my book. Where it's gone since has been disgusting.

Many might not remember, but President Bush went to Congress early in his second term, asking for help with a looming financial collapse. The "Do Nothing Congress" did nothing.

I'm not saying Bush was great, but I think he did see this coming, and tried to do something about it quite some time ago. Once the collapse was imminent, there weren't many options. I still disagree with his course of action at the end of his term, but this is all worth pointing out.
