Dickie Durbin and Joey Biden Cousins?

Dick Durbin issued the following on social media.

Durbin, the Senate majority whip, posted on his Facebook wall over the weekend that during a White House meeting, one GOP leader told Obama: “I cannot even stand to look at you.”

White House has responded:

The White House issued a statement Thursday saying “we regret the misunderstanding” about Sen. Dick Durbin’s account of a meeting between House Republicans and President Barack Obama.

Dickie responded

“Durbin stands by his comments,” said Max Gleischman, a spokesman for the Illinois Democrat.

White House further responded

White House press secretary Jay Carney said on Wednesday that the remark was never given. “I looked into this and spoke with somebody who was in that meeting, and it did not happen,” he told reporters at the White House briefing.

How to spin this? Okay here we go:

Dick was the only one that heard it because the racist GOP member muttered it under his breath.

Durbin wasn't lying.....he was told exactly that by Harry Reid.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) told his Democratic caucus last week in a private meeting that a top House Republican said to President Barack Obama, “I cannot even stand to look at you,” according to two Democratic senators who were present.

Evidently the White House decided to spread this story to stoke Democratic anger and stiffen their resolve, while not expecting them go public with it ..... oopps. Had this been a Republican, somebody head would be forced to roll, but with this White House - miss-communication. Not even a sorry - but at least they are honest about it as they tell you bend over ....
