I'm sure nothing will come of this, but I do understand the sentiment of the people who don't feel they're being represented by the state. I remember some talk a few years back about the panhandle of TX, OK and SW KS and maybe parts of SW CO wanting to form a new state, but obviously nothing happened. I'm curious to see if this makes more news in the weeks/months to come or if it just fades away with few hearing about it. Odds are definitely against it, but it can still serve a purpose for dialogue.
