If our country ever falls, it will be the parents that are to blame.

I can't tell the difference between the parents and the child any longer.

Everybody is a victim.

There was a time when children were seen and not heard.

We are a country of child worshippers and these little deities are ill-equipped.

Cold returns to truth telling and all is right with the world.

Of course you're right, but parents face an incredible uphill battle these days.


Go back to Bill and Hill famously saying "It takes a village".


Since then 2 parent households continue to decline in numbers (for many reasons, but mostly because the "village", ie. government, has jumped in head first to make it possible for so called adults to abstain from their responsibilities as parents & adults and do more of the child rearing themselves). Parents have become more selfish because others will step in and help, so NATURALLY their children are even more selfish (and learning that selfishness at a younger age). Couple that with the last 20 years of technology that allows basically unfettered communication with these kids, overwhelming them with every nonsensical viewpoint and idea that often times the best parents cannot overcome and you've lit the gasoline dipped fuse on a messed up generation with a proverbial blowtorch.

The parents are to blame because too many of them gave power and parenting oversight to the village, either out of negligence, apathy, stupidity or just poor choices.
