Youre a left wing trolling nut job that’ll hopefully be crickets like you always do when you’re wrong in a few days.
The joke actually wasn't about Puerto Ricans. He was referencing an issue with their garbage problem.
I originally thought like everyone else that it was to demean Puerto Ricans, but after hearing about their garbage issue, it is clear what he was referencing on the joke.

To me, this is what is "funny"...... Some insult comic with zero political history tries a joke that really isn't that funny BUT is completely FACT BASED and Trump and everyone voting for him are guilty as sin. The MSM picked out the most obtuse interpretation of the joke to try and stain the right.

The ****ING PRESIDENT calls half the country garbage and we just didn't see the apostrophe.

I know CNN tried it (I assume the rest of the left followed suit) again with Trump calling for Cheney to be killed, which again is a complete lie.

      The media are scared. Good.

      • Okay Cold, read my follow up post acknowledging 50% was not realistic. I was making a point which is gov't is far FAR to large and unproductive.....and it's sucking the life out of the private sector. There are good jobs in terms of PAY but certainly not productivity. I think 25% is very realistic and would improve stability and the economy which has been decaying faster the past 3 1/2 years or haven't you noticed? But what really scares me is the horrible leadership at the state dept, FBI, CIA and even our military that prioritizes DEI over competence ! There is no better example of that than Harris !!!!

Trump might be a neofascist, many of the people that worked with him believe he has fascist tendencies.

A comedian is a comedian. It was extremely poor politics to have a "roaster" roasting Puerto Rico while you're in the battle for Pennsylvania. It's another example of incompetency.

I'm very, very far from left wing. But I'm also no mindless, gutless, misinformation-spewing Trumper either. I live in the light of reality. And believe me, right now it's VERY, very bright... comparatively.

Rise above it. I KNOW you have enough brains to see beyond the veil of dishonesty that both parties, but mostly Trump, traffic in.

Yes, Trump and his minions are WAY more dishonest than the D's and theirs. That's a fact that you can take to the bank. At least with respect to comments that flow from their holes. I can't speak for what they do in their private lives (like burning ballots... *rolls eyes*).

Individuals with higher fluid intelligence are more likely to change their attitudes after misinformation corrections, while need for cognition—enjoying deep thinking—has little effect on openness to these factual corrections.

A recent study published in Cognitive Research: Principles and Implications sheds light on why some people are more likely to change their beliefs after being presented with corrections to misinformation. Researchers found that people with higher fluid intelligence, a form of general reasoning ability, were more likely to adjust their attitudes after receiving corrective information. Interestingly, an individual’s motivation to think deeply—what psychologists call “need for cognition”—had little effect on attitude change. This suggests that the ability to reason through new information is more influential than simply being motivated to engage with it.

The rise of misinformation, particularly online, has posed serious challenges for societies aiming to foster well-informed public discourse. In recent years, efforts to combat misinformation have often focused on fact-checking and correction strategies, but not all individuals respond to corrections in the same way. Understanding why some people adjust their beliefs while others do not could help improve debunking strategies.

The study’s authors wanted to explore whether personal characteristics like fluid intelligence (the ability to think and reason quickly and abstractly) or need for cognition (the desire to engage in effortful thinking) could predict who is more likely to update their attitudes in response to corrected information.
Participants were divided into two groups: the experimental group, which received misinformation on a fictional topic — trust-based working hours — and a control group, which received a neutral, factual version of the same topic. Both groups read a news article about a company’s experiment with flexible working hours, but only the experimental group received misinformation suggesting that the project had negative consequences, like financial losses. Following this, the experimental group read a correction message that debunked the misinformation, presented as an independent fact-check that clarified the misinformation and reframed the project as generally positive.

The researchers measured participants’ attitudes toward trust-based working hours both before and after the correction message. Fluid intelligence was measured using a deductive reasoning test that involved analyzing logical conclusions, while need for cognition was assessed with a short survey where participants rated statements indicating their preference for complex or intellectually engaging tasks.

For the second experiment, the researchers aimed to expand and refine their findings from the first study by using a larger and more diverse sample. They recruited 795 participants from an online participant pool, Prolific, and applied similar exclusion criteria, ultimately resulting in a final sample of 725 participants.
It's an interesting article that all in here should study and learn from. It explains why someone like myself participate in the presidential discussion in such an opposing, annoying way. My fluid intelligence is off the charts. I am immune to the illogical/contradictory dead-ends that many in society get trapped by. I CANNOT think like everybody else. Believe me, I have tried.

            I am also not trolling.

I will continue to call a spade a spade regardless of political affiliation. If the Democrats are as a whole operating in a more sincere and honest manner, and I think they are, I will say so. It doesn't mean I am voting for them, I am not.

I watched a lot of Trump interviews last week thanks to KW's link. I saw the same potential in Trump that made me want to vote for him back in 2016. But he is unfortunately proven to ME to be too malignant/malevolent of an individual to trust handing this country over to again. His impact has been felt and it's been mostly negative since 2020. The negativity started even back at the beginning of his presidency. He's just a nasty man. And potentially even dangerous considering how he can build such a following and twist minds.

Kamala is a FAR better, more reasonable, mature individual. But her party/policies are too woke which makes our country weak.

Trump might be the Anti-Christ. Much of his policies are better, but his approach is too extreme/divisive. I also don't trust his geopolitical views . I think he's ultimately in it for himself. Trying to destabilize NATO is like cutting off one's nose to spite their face. And it's exactly what the world's autocrats want to see.

Putin must not be victorious. We must stand tall against dictators and invaders. That's what America is and has always been. A beacon of freedom. Trump does not evoke these ideals.

So in the end, I believe Kamabalala is the "safer" choice for America, but both candidates will make us more weak ultimately IMO. Therefore it's checkmate for a guy like me. I still might write somebody in, although most likely, I won't even show up.

The First Amendment is on the ballot, yes. Thank you for proving the point. If "Crossfire Hurricane" would have reached it's intended outcome instead of misfiring, then yes, maybe it wouldn't be on the ballot, one way another. Thank God a bunch of incompetent and TDS deranged government workers' were on the case. No?

Couldn't you guys have a least propped up somebody who can hold a godd**n conversation without the aid of a bottle of cognac, and ain't for reparations, or crushing the First Amendment (out loud even). What a bunch of rancorous morons...

                          --
                          PA: Harris (58% to 32%)
                          NC: Trump (34% to 33%)

                          Example:

                          PA: Harris (57% to 33%)

Means that Democrats have cast 57% of the mail-in ballots counted in Pennsylvania so far, and Republicans have cast 33% of the votes. The rest are by "Other" (independents, uncounted, etc). We don't know WHO those people have voted for, but you can read between the lines and assume the vast majority of Democrat votes went to Harris and the vast majority of Republican votes went to Trump.

Bongino has been all over this. Sounds like the GOP is smoking all this out to the open and forcing action.
