  • KU Student Body President retweets 'Death to America'

Will be interesting to see how this plays out. From KWCH news - https://www.kwch.com/business/ku-stu...sh-over-tweet/

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) -KU student body president, Niya McAdoo, is getting lots of feedback from a statement she re-tweeted reading “Happy Friday everybody...Death to America. “with a grinning emoji at the end. It made many upset and wanting clarification on what she meant by the post.

One student named Grace replied to McAdoo’s post saying ”As a military affiliated student- I cannot stop thinking about this.”

She goes on to say “We are only days out from the recent military deaths in Afghanistan and days away from 9/11 which impacted my family in ways very few understand,” wrote the student.

Many are calling the statement is anti-american.

McAdoo explained saying ”Please know that is death to America that was built on indigenous genocide and the backs of Black slaves. If you’re worried about the people in the service of the military, be mad at your government because my words shouldn’t make you this mad.”

Later McAdoo tweeted “...I have free speech like anyone else, and I’m not going to apologize for advocating for the death of a country built on racism.”

We reached out to McAdoo to explain further and she would not do an interview or take any questions at the time.

We also reached out to KU for comment on the situation but have not heard back.

If you do a google search on Niya McAdoo, a Linked In page at https://www.linkedin.com/in/niya-mcadoo-316148149 has one job listed - crew member at McDonalds. There's also an article about her from the KU student newspaper from a couple days ago at https://www.kansan.com/news/ku-stude...0f8f39c00.html - sounds like there was an issue with the VP. And here's another article - https://www.kansan.com/news/from-stu...a3ecb1d9c.html - about how she went from a student activist to being student body president.

Whatever. They is an idiot. (I am not sure if Niya's gender)

Fun fact, did you know that America is the only country that gained it's land through conquest of other people? It's true. Before America, all of the people of the world were never at war amd had defined boundaries of the land they owned. Crazy, huh? And people of different races never, ever quarrelled, especially Native Americans. All Native Americans lived in peace and harmony with all the other tribes.

I'm sure Niya will do fine when her dream of America falling comes to fruition. Communusm or Islamo-facsism will bring untold riches and vast freedoms to they as they lives in peace and harmony with their new rulers.

It would almost be worth it happening just to see the look on their face when it does, and then show they their words. LOL.

They would never be the first to 'take one for the team' . And they also never have any idea what they are talking about.

This is nothing though. it's not like she (edit: they) invited Ivanka Trump to speak or anything.

Which Native tribe were the most peaceful? Was it the ones that just slaughtered the rival tribe, or the ones that made the conquered tribe their slaves.... wait a minute.... Which native tribe had the best women's rights, so that we can go back to their rituals and customs to reset the country. These are debates Niya needs to have and explain, so that we can start to mend our devlish ways and return to the anti-savage culture of thd Native Americans.

Perhaps she would feel more comfortable going to school in Afghanistan under Taliban rule.

Some native tribes were peaceful and others less so. There have been many atrocities in America committed by racist people on all sides, and also by the American government. However, for any race to refuse to acknowledge that America is truly a melting pot of many races, and that we have created a new culture from this mixture is just putting their heads in the sand and choosing to believe an untrue narrative. Mixed religions and mixed races are a huge part of what we are. They are a part of my family, and most American families.

Before 1776, a government of “the people” was almost unheard of. There is no doubt that this self governing concept got off to a rocky start with a minority of people participating, but today, almost everyone can participate If they choose. The Democrats even want prisoners and non-citizens to vote (which is crazy), but that’s for another discussion.
