  • MLB All-Star Game Terror?

Four men arrested after a maid at the hotel alerted authorities of finding a room full weapons. Police raided room and found

discovered 16 long guns, body armor and more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition from an eighth-floor hotel room that had a balcony overlooking Denver's downtown area.
    Initial law enforcement response was

law enforcement sources told Denver7 they feared a “Las Vegas-style shooting” because of the number of weapons and ammunition in the eighth-floor hotel room, as well as the vantage point from the room’s balcony, which would overlook potentially large crowds. One of the men who was arrested posted on Facebook about wanting to “go out in a big way,” according to Denver7, which cited anonymous police sources.

Since then the FBI has responded and is trying to shut the story down

"We are not aware of any threat to the All-Star Game events, venues, players or the community at this time."
That is comforting...you also were not aware of the Las Vegas shooting either

Interesting. Sixteen long guns is a lot for 2 people. 1000 rounds of ammo isn’t that much, except for taking it into a hotel room. That’s a lot not at home or on the range. It’s heavy too, so why carry it to your hotel instead of leaving in your vehicle? Body armor is a not necessarily just for folks planning an assault anymore, but again, why take it to your hotel unless you just wear it all the time? If you wear it all the time, then why not wear it out when you leave?

Sounds more like to me an arms and equipment transaction in conjunction with the drug trade.

It does look like it, but still there is no way the FBI knows one way or the other yet.

I'm wondering if it's white supremacists. They are the greatest threat to our country.

The Jan. 6 Capitol episode was chock full of White Supremacists. They need to cross-check. I would bet my life that these guys were never involved in the Portland, Minneapolis, New York, and Wisconsin riots. They were really just people who were demonstrating.

“Denver police on Friday seized weapons and a significant amount of narcotics from two rooms at The Maven Hotel at 1850 Wazee St., Denver police Chief Paul Pazen said Sunday. A source who spoke to The Post on condition of anonymity said it was more than a dozen guns and numerous rounds of ammunition.“

                Just a drug deal.

16 rifles/shotguns, body armor, and a thousand rounds sounds about right for 4 businessmen partaking in a good ol free market exchange of narcotics.

When somebody starts telling you what it is not before they even have time to investigate the case - then it makes me suspicious. Denver/MLB/FBI have reason why they don’t want the narrative to be anything else but a drug operation being ran from two floor in this hotel.

The only time it was ever a terrorist plot thwarted by the feds is when three undercover agents put two radical rubes up to it.
