No one met Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga at the door when he arrived.
The only one standing there was a stationary Marine.

Eventually Heiress Kamala Harris came out and met the PM.

I may be totally wrong, but this seems to be one of those things that if the bad orange man had done it, it would be one of those "the world does not respect America anymore" type things.

But, of course, Trump would have not only met the PM, he would have put him up Mar A Lago and treated him lavishly. And that, would have been even worse!
