I'm not saying this will happen, because there may be enough loyalty to the republic within the DOD and officer class to prevent it, but that will be the only thing stopping it from happening. This is a slow moving coup attempt. Like the proverbial boiled frog it will be too late when we know it's happened.Wichita State, home of the All-Americans.

Global defense contractor IT expert testifies in Italian court he and others switched votes in the U.S. presidential race
This blockbuster press release, IF TRUE, is the "MOAB"—Mother Of All Bombshells—that should break open the entire election fraud scheme. Is this it? We'll see.

Rome, Italy (January 5, 2021) – An employee of the 8th largest global defense contractor, Leonardo SpA, provided a shocking deposition detailing his role in the most elaborate criminal act affecting a US election. Corroborating the DNI Ratcliff’s report of international intrusion, Arturo D’elio outlined the scheme that proved successful in using Leonardo computer systems and military satellites located in Pescara, Italy. Recent reports of a hack at Leonardo now appear to have been an orchestrated cover to mitigate blowback on the corporation which is partially owned by the Italian government.
If it was true you would think Trump's people would be all over it.Last edited by 1972Shocker; January 6, 2021, 07:04 PM.

General Mike Flynn Tweet - January 7, 2021
From what I can gather this "affidavit" was delivered to some in congress yesterday. Based on what transpired with the electoral college certification it would appear that this information was deemed to be unreliable.
Although it does make you wonder why the Dems are so hell bent on impeaching Trump if his cabinet does not take action under the 25th amendment as they are pushing for was well. OTOH, if Trump and his guys really had anything you would have thought that would released that by now.Last edited by 1972Shocker; January 7, 2021, 05:55 PM.

The two most important words in this are IF TRUE. This is more than a little hard to buy into. I'm guessing this guy may be a bit of a mental case. This story doesn't seem to be gaining any traction that I can tell. Perhaps the story itself is a fabrication. The latter would seem to be the Occam Razor explanation.

I would hope this isn't true. It's much easier to pin our problems on a crazy orange man. If an entire party was found to be involved in a massive election conspiracy, this country would never be the same. It would be the beginning of the end.

The top Democrats in Congress have urged the Cabinet to remove President Donald Trump and threatened to impeach him if they do not.
Pompeo, Mnuchin among Cabinet secretaries who discussed 25th Amendment with staff, sources say
As President Donald Trump stood idly by with violent protestors ransacking the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, at least two of his top officials and closest allies conferred with staff about the possibility of invoking the 25th Amendment.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin held informal conversations within their own agencies about the contours of the 25th Amendment, the invocation of which would begin a process to remove Trump from office, according to three sources familiar with the matter.
The arguments against pursuing action, according to the three sources, were manifold. First, the legal process itself was estimated to take more than a week, negating any immediate effect it would have.
Second, it was unclear whether the three secretaries serving in “acting” roles without Senate confirmation would be able to cast a vote. Third, they had concerns that forcing Trump from office could further stoke tensions among his base and make him a hero of the far right, doing more bad in the long-term than good in the short-term.
“The general plan now is to let the clock run out,” said one former senior administration official aware of the discussions. “There will be a reckoning for this president, but it doesn’t need to happen in the next 13 days.”
Mnuchin, traveling overseas, declined to comment. A State Department official denied the conversations took place.
Can't even enjoy calling it 7.5 mos. before it happened. I just feel pity for everyone.
We're not even close to being through this nightmare yet. This will drag on for years. Trump will be center stage in the media while he stands trial and FOX News paints him a martyr. The Trumpers will rise up. The DEMS will go after them reinforcing the persecution narrative. It's gonna take a miracle to heal this country.
Oh and by the way, we're in the middle of a pandemic.

“The legacy of the Trump administration is going to be that the president sparked an insurrection and people died.”
Senior Trump Official: We Were Wrong, He’s a ‘Fascist’
On Friday afternoon, 48 hours after the U.S. Capitol was stormed by violent insurrectionists encouraged by Donald Trump in an attempt to overthrow the government in protest of his election loss, a senior member of his administration spoke to me while he was driving to work.
“This is confirmation of so much that everyone has said for years now — things that a lot of us thought were hyperbolic. We’d say, ‘Trump’s not a fascist,’ or ‘He’s not a wannabe dictator.’ Now, it’s like, ‘Well, what do you even say in response to that now?’”
For four years, people like this official — lifelong Republican operatives — have convinced themselves that Trump’s obvious faults were worth tolerating if it meant implementing a conservative policy agenda. These officials believed the benefits of remaking the courts with conservative justices, or passing tax reform, outweighed the risks that a Trump presidency posed to democracy and to the reputation of the country in the world. Now, at the 11th hour, with 12 days left before Joe Biden is sworn into office, it’s clear to some that it was always a delusion.
“This is like a plot straight out of the later, sucky seasons of House of Cards where they just go full evil and say, ‘Let’s spark mass protests and start wars and whatever,’” the senior administration official said.
“I went through Access Hollywood, Charlottesville — all of these insane things. There’s some degree of growing accustomed to the craziness. It’s not like my heart is racing, like, Oh God, how am I supposed to react to this? It’s just more that I’m depressed. For people who devoted years of their lives to dealing with the insanity in an attempt to advance a policy agenda that you believe in, all of that has been wiped out. The legacy of the Trump administration is going to be that the president sparked an insurrection and people died because he tried his best to not abide by the Constitution and the tradition of a peaceful transition of power that’s been the norm since our founding. Nothing else is even going to be a side note.”
Is Trump a fascist or just exhibiting fascistic behavior. I don't know what determines the difference. The history books? So let's just say Trump is a "fascist", well then comparisons to Hitler would be absolutely reasonable in the context of fascism. Of course Trump would not rank as high on the "evil scale" as a Hitler for obvious reasons. But no longer can people just laugh at the comparison. Trump and his acolytes absolutely use many tools of former dictators to influence the populace; namely, information distortion.
Side note: just about every hardcore company president that goes to the White House and attempts to run the country like his/her business would eventually be called a fascist. Trump though exhibits certain Sociopathic characteristics that give him the potential to become something very dangerous. And again, there are many businesses people, particularly hailing from large urban areas, who exhibit similar traits. I think empathy is one of the first things to go when a living thing exists in over-crowded habitats. Competition and scarcity remove a lot of the love and kindness.

I do agree. The whole thing is very sad. I never thought he was serious about attempting to overthrow an election. But he had planned for this long ago. He was never going to admit the election was fair if he lost.

While that’s a large group of people, it’s not the German Nazi Party who ruled most of the world. if the Capitol Police would have been prepared with additional resources like the National Guard, this breach wouldn’t have happened. DT just doesn’t have the influence some give him credit for imo.
