Situational awareness is your friend. I understand you're a little stressed out (and we all get that way), but I don't think the mods have established the two users you're fighting with are truly trolls or just new members (since we are very much in the local and national news these days).

As a result, the optics are making it appear as if you are actually trying to bait and fight with new users, which is not a good thing for the long-term viability of this message forum.

I think Kung was very patient as this whole train wreck of a thread unfolded. Note he threatened you with a time-out, but the newbies were threatened with a perma-ban.

Also, and for the record, I have had similar warnings conveyed in the exact same way in the past :).

If you feel stressed the next few days (and provided the weather in Alaska permits), perhaps you could go out and take a walk. That works for me.
