    Trading resumes on NYSE after nearly 4-hour outage

    The New York Stock Exchange suspended trading Wednesday morning at 11:32 am because of a 'technical glitch.' No cyber breach suspected by NYSE or Homeland Security officials.

    So you know how right before a large retailer declares bankruptcy, they have a massive sale on a holiday with inventory at below cost prices just to raise as much cash as possible?

    4th of July --> Firecrackers --> China

    WSJ website crashed at almost the exact same time trading was suspended. The number of hits probably triggered it.

    Looks like the Chinese stock exchange is suffering from an adjustment:


    The government is intervening, but it does not appear to be working:


    Over 1300 companies have had trading in their stocks suspended.

    This makes Greece look like small potatoes.
