Christian Okoye relishes the hospital visits and joining teammates and other greats of the NFL to make a positive impact on the community. He has no problem with his role or the expectations placed on him.

When EO arrives the nightmare will finally be over!

Then he will be our "New Era Nigerian"!

Yeah I saw that article on ESPN a few days ago. I must admit Christian's probably still one of my all-time favorites. Maybe it was just finally seeing some success after so many bad years, but it was sure fun to watch him run over people, and DeBerg throwing the bombs on play action.

I met him in KC at a card show one time and he was very friendly and talked to us for some time since no one was in line behind us. My friend asked him about his Swanson pot pie commercials and Christian just laughed. He did make some funny commercials, I'll never forget "hello Christian, who's your favorite Chief?"

Okoye is and always will be one of my all time favorites. I had a poster of him above my bed for years. DeBerg already had a great play action but with Okoye behind him it became that much better.
