My post got removed for using the common phrases such as #### and ####. Keep clanging on to them though. I see that's how you roll.

Staff comment: You know, if it got deleted once . . .

It's way too early to be talking about the Royals.

They'll be plenty of time to talk about the losers later this year.

Emil Brown had about 230 RBIs over the three years he was a Royal. If someone bet you $200 that Brown's total will be more than what Jose Guillen will be able to get over next three years, would you take that bet?
How do you quantify how many runs Emil Brown was responsible for the opposing team scoring? I'd guarantee that he led the league in that category in those three years also.

Id rather sign Ozzie Canseco to a long term deal then to put up with Emil Brown for another one.

If the bet gets voided due to a Guillen injury, I'd take Jose in this one.

Says more for the Royals' lack of power than anything else, thoughl
Three years in a row, Royal. Three years. ... :(
Gee, thanks a lot for that cheerful correction. ;-)

Of course, now that he'll be getting paid by Billy Beane, he'll hit 15 HRs with 50 RBIs . . . AS A FOURTH OUTFIELDER!
